Poems MOONLIGHT

MOONLIGHT

Many were they

Groomed in their uniforms

Walking down the streets

Schools are closed it might seem

Minding their own business

Was everybody

Busy doing something

Running or sitting somewhere

Light everywhere

Here and there

Guiding the city

To wherever that one goes

Airwaves was booming

With sweet melody

Tuning to your heart

Refreshing your whole of you

Regardless of the time

It was bright

Moon was playing its part

The stars were many today too

As it comes to an end

This day of the year

Fulfilled you feel

And fresh for the next day

From afar it calls

Sheets you miss

A bed where sleep comes

Where all away it goes

Too soon maybe

But the early bird catches the worm

As we pen off

We say goodnight
