“Right, right. Off we go, we aim for better not for the best.”

The group of fifteen people, were prepared for action. They chose the clothes to wear with two sets identical and the others not so much. In a division of five people they went into the cloak room and changed, ready and prepared to face the other side of light. It was not that such a light, to them yes, but to an ordinary person it was dark. Harm was meant to others sometimes, and the sure one was loss of belongings. Nobody wanted that, but the world is not fair, it has its tricks, it has its own lessons that each somehow has to go through. One should be taught at least to learn a lesson of being cautious and not care free. It was how should it be put by them, “to be alert,” not like a scout but rather more, what that was none among them could answer.

The movement to glory begun, together as one, united they walked and as an entity thriving was not that far, it was near. The group of fifteen both men and women all took path straight ahead before in a small group of five started dispersing to other directions after reaching a corner. Each was allocated a place to work at.

Jori was in the first five, scared was he, it was his first mission. He worried of what if the worst happened and that would be the death of him. What that gave him motivation though was his hunger, he was promised food at lunch. He had only taken porridge as breakfast, when he had asked for bread then, he was told, no, food would be his motivator. Being a newcomer, he did not complain, after all, any trade comes with experience.

Close by him was a lady, the main actress in the play they would perform. She cared less, she was even listening to music and she had Airpods with her and at a loud sound it emitted. She and her distraction wore similar clothes, a black trouser and a green t-shirt with them. The secret was the initiator to look slim with no muscles but the distraction to be energetic like one who had gone to the gym.

Jori suddenly saw a gentleman walking in front of them, and instantly tapped on the main actress, she understood the message, for right in front of her there was the jackpot. The passerby was engaged in a conversation on the phone while he placed it on his right ear. Him being alone on an alley, made him the perfect target.

Jori and the other four hide on the corner while the main actress run immediately to the passerby, she grabbed the phone and run back. She is followed. She passed the distraction team as they walked to the direction of the passerby. With the muscled guy with similar clothes leading the crew.

The tactic was confidence, confusion and teamwork. For immediately when the passerby was nearing the group, he was shocked first. In front of him was a man wearing the same clothes as the thieve but different this time round and with them they had clubs.

Jori being the slim one was being escorted while the others shouted,

“Who was it that beat you?” “Show us, is it that person in front of us?”

The passerby heard all that and all of them they had clubs, the passerby with instincts of any human became scared. He run away from the group that seemed to be after him. It was too fast an action, adrenaline was working.

Later in the evening, at around 6 P.M, the fifteen people converged to where they were in during the early day of the morning. It was at an unfinished three storey building.

Each of the five group handed what they got to a basket that was in front of them.

After they did that, they complained, “the economy looks not well.”

So too do thieves complain about the economy.
